Passengers travelling out of and into London Heathrow may face delays over the next 3 days due to strikes from ground handlers. Depending on which airline and terminal.
We can confirm that disruptions are expected to only affect Terminals, 2, 3 and 4.
Terminals 1 and 5 are not affected.
The key airlines affected are:
Air Canada, American Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Air Portugal, Austrian Air, Qantas, Egypt Air, Air Lingus and Finnair.
If your flight is affected:
- If you booked through a Not Just Travel Personal Travel Consultant, they will be reaching out to you regarding your options if they haven't already
- If you booked elsewhere, ensure you aware of your options
- If you need guidance or further advice, you can still reach out to us and find your local consultant who will be able to help
Even if your flight is not affected, we would still recommend leaving plenty of time to travel to London Heathrow as there may be delays. This will ensure you have plenty of time to catch your flight.
